The Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) Southern Tagalog Region 1 will hold a charity fun run on July 15, 2018, Sunday, at the University of the Philippines Los Baños in Laguna.
Entitled “God Soul Run,” the charity fun run aims to gather BCBP members from the region and their families, friends and colleagues to experience the joy of running and the beauty of God’s creation which Los Baños is blessed with.
The fun run will start at Baker Hall of UPLB at exactly 430 am on July 15.
Runners of different skill levels can join — from the young and old ones who could only do 3 kilometers, to the serious ones who could do 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers or even 15 kilometers.
Registration fees are as follows: P400 (3k); P500 (5k); P600 (10k); and P750 (15k). All registered participants get a dry-fit shirt showing the theme of the run and BCBP’s Be Honest advocacy message.
The proceeds from this event will donated to victims of natural and man=made calamities in different parts of the country. Last year’s fun run held at Pavilion Mall in Biñan, Laguna, was able to raise funds for those who suffered from the Marawi Siege in Mindanao.
BCBP members may register through the Programs and Services Directorate of their respective chapters.
Meanwhile. those in Los Baños may register directly through the following: Maces Bookstore (look for Jess or Andy Rodriguez); Baker Hall of UPLB (every Saturday until July 7, 2018 from 5 am to 7:30 am); ELBI Coffee Hub at Grove, Lopez Avenue; and at CLEBELRO Apartment or BELMORE Residence Hall in UPLB from Mondays to Fridays, 8 am to 5 pm (look for Ronel, Robert or Lhai).
The run is being organized in cooperation with the UPLB College of Arts and Sciences Department of Human Kinetics.
