The BCBP Puerto Princesa South Chapter commences BCLP No. 27 on September 2, 2017, at the Holiday Suites at San Pedro Puerto Princesa City. The program started with a Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Eugene Elivera, after which the BCBP Puerto Princesa South members formally welcomed all the 32 BCLP participants present during the opening program.

PPS2Bro. Nelson Caabay, the BCLP 27 Course Director welcomed the 32 participants, thanking them for responding to Christ’s invitation to join the program. He also gave a short overview of the whole program and introduced the members of the service team. The BCBP Puerto Princesa South Chapter Head Bro. Romy Cabungcal gave a short message of welcome to the participants.
Former Chapter Head, Bro. Ike Padong delivered the first talk, “Who is Jesus Christ?” for module 1.

Preparations for the BCLP started with a Novena which ran from Aug 24 to September 1, 2017, at the San Miguel Arkanghel Parish Church, with each Unit assigned each day to lead the prayers for the success of the BCLP #27.

PPS3A Leadership and Orientation Seminar/Workshop for the whole service team was also conducted on August 26, 2017, at the Palawan Uno Hotel, Puerto Princesa City.

The BCLP 27 service team is headed by Bro. Nelson Caabay as the Course and Mission Director, Bro. Paolo Rodriguez as Course Leader, Bro. Vince Esguerra as Assistant Course Leader and Bro Raymond Padrones as Head Servant.
