Good evening brothers and sisters. We read in Romans 12:2 “…. do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind so that you may prove what the will of GOD is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect”.
Being a businessman is not easy. You will encounter a lot of dishonest transactions depending on the type of business you are in. My goal before as a businessman engaging in the operation of public utility vehicles is to reduce my overhead expenses and to maximize my income. I used to buy vehicle spare parts from an illegal source who could give me the price that is half its original price. By doing this I could save a lot and it increase my income.
But I tell you, brothers and sisters, the truth is I was not able to save and my income did not increase and to add to that I committed a sin before GOD.
The spare parts that I bought easily got ruined and it caused me a lot of money, time and effort just to find and buy the same spare parts again and again which meant it almost doubled my expenses. That is the result of a negative karma, brothers and sisters.
But now as a BCBP member I entrust my business in the hands of our Creator. I offer everything to HIM for His greater glory. I have changed my ways of doing business and align my business transactions with Christ. I can now say that my income has increased and I have more time now for my family and in serving our LORD through the BCBP community.
Transforming our business with Christ and to His principles is a challenge. It is not an easy task but we must be an example to our brothers and sisters, to others in the marketplace. Mabuhay ang BCBP. God Bless us all.
