Dear Brothers and Sisters,
All Hail Emmanuel!
The Yuletide season is upon us and we wait with joyous expectation for the birth of The Christ Child.
Amidst all the merriment and celebration, we have a lot to be thankful for in 2012.
First and foremost, we have a great and wonderful Father whose love for us knows no bounds.
He has blessed all of us with a wonderful, loving and caring community in the BCBP.
It is here where we serve Him and where we are called to bring the Good News of Salvation that His Son, our Lord and Saviour, has promised for all businessmen and professionals in the Marketplaces where He has placed us.
It is also in the BCBP where He gives us opportunities to love, serve and be generous to each another.
There are two symbolisms that the Christmas season so aptly captures, that makes this advent celebration truly special.
The first is that the Messiah, the Son of God, was born without pomp or fanfare, quietly in a stable in Bethlehem, without so much as the animals in the barn to witness this glorious event.
The second is the symbolism of the Holy Family — Joseph, Mary and the Infant Jesus.
This image of peace, love and total surrender to God’s will, is our inspiration to raise our own families similarly in humble submission and obedience to God.
May the Lord Our God bless you and your families with overflowing peace and joy and may He walk with you all through the coming year of faith.
A blessed Christmas and a joyful New Year to all!
