Our dear People of God,
Peace be with you. We are aware that many of you have been wondering why your bishops have kept a collective silence over many disturbing issues, about which you may have felt you urgently needed our spiritual and pastoral guidance.
Forgive us for the length of time that it took us to find our collective voice. We too needed to be guided properly in prayer and discernment before we could guide you.
Well what do you know? This used to be a fancy dream of a casual group of BCBP Makati, and now Taguig golfers. We were then imagining like “what if we form our own golf club just for the pure fun of game.” So when we started this thing, none of us, indeed, knew if it will last longer than 2012. But before you knew it, December 28, 2018 came, which was 10 years after that fateful post-Christmas game at Villamor Golf. Time flies real fast, just like a player rushing to look for a lost ball. As 2018 comes to a close we are filled with gratitude for the many graces God has given us thru the BCBP. That He has called us to participate in His divine work by means of our stewardship roles over our family, our action groups and our communities is indeed a wonderful gift we deeply cherish as we nurture our relationships with them.
