More than one hundred fifty members and guests gathered at Crown Regency Suites, Lapulapu City on October 26, 2014 to celebrate another milestone in the history of BCBP Mactan its 21st Anniversary.

They had their Breakfast in Bogo with Cebu Central CH Ani and Maritess Serrato as sharers. After the breakfast the group together with Bogo leaders had a tour of Bogo and its neighbor town, Medellin. Among those they visited are the BOMEDCO Sugar Central at Medellin and the Parish church of the famous and miraculous Our Lady of Remedy at Odlot, Bogo City.

On the afternoon of March 15, 2014 some chapter members joined the intercessory group on a pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Black Nazarene at the Angel of Peace chapel at Cansujong Talisay City.

The annual chapter recollection that we had last March 22, 2019 was a good personal reminder, especially on the topic about God’s covenant with us. Talking about covenants, it made me recall of the story of a young man who was just a mediocre, he didn’t have any dreams except for those begets during his sleep. He refuses to understand that he has certain virtues and gifts that need to be protected, cherished, used and to be shared with others.

Bro Jess Caraga, BCBP Cebu South, shares how he answered the Lord’s call to the BCBP. In a few months, I will be celebrating my ninth year with the brotherhood. Despite the many misconceptions I had in joining this community, I still continue and profess to be a good member. When I was still new in the brotherhood, I dreamt of joining the mission team.

In the book Bonds of Anguish, Bonds of Love by Terry Warner it mentioned two contrasts of life, life for oneself alone and life for others. As Christians and servant of the Lord we have to ponder on these two contrasts of life because its with greater understanding of these two ways of life we can become the good stewards of the Lord.
