Last May 5, Sunday, members of the Southern Tagalog 2 Region were in their sports attire ready to join its first regional sports fest held at Caltex Golf Club San Pascual Batangas and was hosted by the Batangas Chapter.

The Southern Tagalog 2 Region with its 5 chapters and outreaches; Batangas, Lipa, Lucena, Tanauan, San Jose Mindoro and Taal-Lemery, has participated in the simultaneous FUN RUN of the BCBP.

The Southern Luzon Area headed by AMD Jun Obra and wife Mina held their first area meeting in Legazpi City, June 16-17, hosted by Bicol Region RCD, Benjie Santiago and attended by the Regional Council Directors of the four regions in Southern Luzon and President Manny Jimenez. 345 BCBP members and 10 first timers braved the heavy rains of Typhoon Ambo to attend their regional breakfast at Bluroze Farms last June 1, 2012. The occasion was blessed by the presence of BCBP National President Manny and Reggie Jimenez who gave their life testimony. All 5 chapters and 4 outreaches of the region were represented at the Grand Regional Breakfast.
