355 ATTEND SOUTHERN TAGALOG 2’s REGIONAL B’FAST ON JUNE 2, 2012

by BCBP Editor

345 BCBP members and 10 first timers braved the heavy rains of Typhoon Ambo to attend their regional breakfast at Bluroze Farms last June 1, 2012. BCBP Lipa was the host of this year’s regional breakfast. All 5 chapters and 4 outreaches of the region were represented: 5 chapters namely Lipa, Tanauan, Batangas, Lucena and San Jose Mindoro; 4 outreaches Calapan, Taal-Lemery, Nasugbu and Sablayan; and Bauan (starting their CLP), with Noel Landicho as Regional Council Director.

The occasion was blessed by the presence of BCBP National President Manny and Reggie Jimenez who gave their life testimony. Their love, faith and transformation inspired the brothers and sisters attending the event. It was a relief for everyone to know that even the president himself had gone through as lot of struggles before he fully accepted God as his Lord and Saviour. The STR2 is so blessed and honored to have had the couple as their sharers for the regional breakfast.

The theme of this year’s regional breakfast was “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.” Bro Manny in his testimony proclaimed, “We must keep on serving God. Go on loving, go on serving, go on living. When in doubt or faced with a difficult situation, we must always ask ourselves, what will Jesus do? Go, God is with you!” After listening to these words, the Southern Tagalog 2 breakfasters were one in responding that as servants they would follow wherever God leads them knowing that God is always with them.

After the breakfast, Manny and Reggie had a luncheon meeting with the leaders of the region followed by an open forum. It was a great time for the leaders to meet the president up close and at the same time ask questions which the president answered fully.

The whole Southern Tagalog 2 Region wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to our National President, Manny and wife Reggie for the time they spent with them. Rest assured that the region will pray and support you in all your endeavors. Maraming maraming salamat po!
