ABOUT HL Philippines:

Recent and past events in our country affirm the need and call for a new breed of leaders. In our individual lives, there is the constant desire to deepen our relationships as well as make the best of our unique contexts and gifts.

It is in response to these that Heroic Leadership (HL) Philippines strives to provide a different kind of leadership formation – one that is not just competency-centered but is values-based as well, that looks at the leader in an integrated way, and that is practical and useful in daily life.

The past runs of HL in the corporate, academic, government and yuppies’ settings have proven its effectiveness in bringing about an impact that is enduring, deep and meaningful to participants in both professional and personal settings.

Our class was invited in this seminar by Father Javy. I really wanted to attend but the date coincides with a previous commitment. I hope to know future seminar dates, and wish to attend the next run. I found his book available in our office library. I will read it soon.

I have read the book by Chris Lowney and had the privilege of having Fr. Javy Alpasa, one of the (if not “the”) brains behind bringing the HL seminar here in the Philippines, as my Professor in our Leadership Course in the Ateneo Regis MBA Program. I look forward to attending the next run… 🙂
