Living as a Christian in today’s world is no joke! Each of us needs to put together a daily survival kit to keep us on track and to help us during the times we lose our way. Here are some everyday items to include in your survival kit.

Toothpick: to remind you to pick out the good qualities in others. Matthew 7:1

Rubber Band: to remind you to be flexible. Things might not always go the way you want, but it will work out! Romans 8:28

Band Aid: to remind you to heal hurt feelings, yours or someone else’s before the “infection” spreads. Colossians 3:12-14

Eraser: to remind you that everyone makes mistakes, and it’s okay. Genesis 50:15-21

Chewing Gum: to remind you to stick with it, and you can accomplish anything. Philippians 4:13

Candy Kiss: to remind you that everyone needs a kiss or a hug everyday. Isaiah 66:13

Tea Bag: to remind you to relax daily and go over your list of blessings. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Holy Bible: to remind you that you are loved by God and that you are precious in His sight. Matthew 6:25-34

Candle: to remind you to be a light in the darkness, to light the way for others. Matthew 5:14-16
