CaptureBCBP’s Advocacy “Confronting Corruption” will be highlighted during the NAC35’s Business Forum immediately following the 7am Grand Breakfast, Saturday, May 2. At 8am the Opening Prayer will be given by Joffe Almoro, BCBP National PSD, followed by Welcome Remarks by Jun Obra, AMD Metro Manila. The Forum then features four talks focusing on corruption, transparency, ethical practices, and morally upright growth. Venue is the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Talk 1: “Presenting a Countryside Consultation on Confronting Corruption” will be presented by the trio of Prof. Ronald Mendoza, Executive Director, AIM Policy Center, Atty Alex Lacson, President, Solidarity for Transformation Phils, and former Senator Joey Lina, President, Manila Hotel.

Talk 2 will be given by Ms. Grace Pulido-Tan, former Chairman, Commission on Audit, who will speak on “Fostering More Transparency in Government To Sustain Economic Development”.

Mr. Ramon del Rosario, Chairman, Makati Business Club, will discuss “Promoting Actionable Ethical Practices for All Business Stakeholders” in Talk 3.

Talk 4:”Rallying Christians Toward Morally Upright Inclusive Growth” with His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle will cap the Forum’s talks.

Forum moderator, BCBP President Joey Avellana, will then conclude the Business Forum with a Call for Collective Action. Cris Dy, RCD Metro Manila North, will give a Message of Thanks, and the Forum will end with a closing prayer by Roy Calleja, BCBP Board of Trustees Chairman.

Are the 4 resource person will our sharers on May 2 BCBP Breakfast? If indeed they are the resource persons, what will be the impressions of our 1st Timer/guest in the Breakfast? Are we going out of the norms of the regular Breakfast?Witnessing/evangelizing the marketplace is our mission in the breakfast meeting.i.e bringing Christ in the marketplace.
