The new Board of Trustees members were announced during the 31st National Anniversary Celebration of the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals, held May 6 and 7 in Dumaguete City, Oriental Negros. The new BOT members will assume their positions on January 1, 2012, and serve for three years.

Representing the Metro Manila area are Joey Avellana (BCBP Makati), Roy Calleja (BCBP Q.C.) and Manny Jimenez (BCBP Alabang). Bert Masiclat (BCBP Lipa), Mel Rebutica (BCBP Binan-San Pedro), and Angel Sabas (BCBP Calamba) represent Luzon; while Gau Arancillo (BCBP Iloilo), Nelson Dauz (BCBP Mactan/Cebu), and Mayong Rodriguez (BCBP Ormoc) represent the Visayas region. Mindanao is represented by Joe Coruna, Bong Pelaez and Jong Tiro (BCBP Cagayan de Oro).

Larry Veloso will join the BOT as BCBP’s past president. The new BOT members will go through a process of discernment to decide who among themselves will be the new BOT Chairman and who will be the BCBP’s new president.

Also sitting on the BOT are Fr Herb Schneider, BCBP’s Spiritual Director, and Doy Nunag, Corporate Secretary and Legal Counsel.
