MISSION

The focus of the mission directorate at the moment is the realization of our KRAs which we formulated right after our Mission workshop last August 2012 in Tagaytay which was attended by 120 ‘mission people’ – MDs, OHs, Regional Mission Coordinators.

The BCBP USA launch and installation of a new Governance Team for BCBP Los Angeles Chapter (previously known as BCBP Southern California Chapter) last October 13, 2012 in Long Beach, California was a resounding success. Dito dela Cerna, Southern Calif. Outreach Head 2003-2009 and Chapter Head from 2009-2012 passed the rod of leadership to Polet Tiano, a BCLP graduate of BCBP Alabang Chapter. Appointed as the Regional Council Director (RCD) for the United States of America is Edito dela Cerna. Assisting him are Lib Madamba as Deputy RCD, Western Region and Art Neri, Deputy RCD, Eastern Region. BCBP has mission activities in Los Angeles, San Francisco, West Covina, New York, Van Nuys, San Bruno, Eagle Rock, La Palma, Chicago and Toronto, Canada.

To invigorate the BCBP in pursuing its NAC 2012 theme of “Go…I am with you”, more than 120 mission coordinators and directors from the BCBP’s different regions, chapters and outreaches nationwide attended the National Mission Workshop on August 3-5 at the Angels Hills Formation and Retreat Center, Tagaytay. All the speakers emphasized the importance of every member being a passionate evangelizer in bringing Christ into their respective marketplaces.
