The Southern Luzon Area headed by AMD Jun Obra and wife Mina held their first area meeting in Legazpi City, June 16-17, hosted by Bicol Region RCD, Benjie Santiago and attended by the Regional Council Directors of the four regions in Southern Luzon and President Manny Jimenez. RCD Noel Landicho, Southern Tagalog 2, reports on their weekend activities.

May 1 was a perfect day to bring one’s family down to the beaches or resorts or just rest at home. But for 126 leaders of Southern Tagalog (STR) 1, it was a ‘service-as-usual’ day with the holding of the regional BCBP Community Manual Training. The 5 chapters and 3 outreaches of the region all sent participants to the day-long training. Sis Dette Joven reports on the day’s activities and inspirations, commending all the leaders who gathered under RCD Joffe Almoro’s leadership.
